- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is often dependent of the density of your music. If you’re only recording vocals for one song, it will be more affordable than recording one song for a full 4 piece band. That being said, it’s definitely always song dependent!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always want to set expectations first, aligning myself with the artist’s vision. Typically I’ll like to sit down and discuss for a bit before we dive in to actual tracking, so I know what will be best to bring an artist’s music to life.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve worked dozens of live shows and recorded even more artists. I’ve taken several university courses to enhance my understanding of the art. I’ve been tutored by other salt lake audio engineers and have over 6 years of experience under my belt.
