Introduction: Teaching the piano is my passion, and I strive to give my students just what they need, no matter their age, level, background, or interests. I hold my bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees in piano performance, and hold multiple certifications in piano pedagogy. In addition to weekly lessons, I also include monthly group classes and recitals in tuition so that you are not only receiving one-on-one instruction from me, but also becoming part of a community of developing musicians. So much about learning a musical instrument can also be applied to life; I strive to make this connection with my students as well, making learning the piano not only a new skill, but something that is truly life-changing.
