Over the past 15 years, I have taught everyone from United Nations ambassadors and diplomats to foreign executives of major multi-national corporations, medical doctors, home-makers, refugees, students at universities and top-rated private schools and kindergartens. In addition to degrees from Tufts University and Northeastern University, I hold a Master in English Language Teaching and Applied Linguistics from the esteemed Kings College London. My programs will be tailor made to your specific needs. Available focus areas include Business, Restaurant and Medical English, Academic Writing in English, Test Preparation (Regents, SAT, TOEFL, IELTS, FCE, CAE, PET, KET, BEC), proofreading, translation, application/dissertation assistance and conversational skills. My methods ensure success by adapting to your learning style and providing a range of resources. Trained in violin, vocals, guitar and piano I regularly integrate music, pop culture and current events into my classes to further stimulate learning. Being a U.S. citizen, I have also lived and taught extensively in Europe (England, Germany, France, Switzerland and Spain), Latin America (Costa Rica and Cuba) and can relate to the needs of foreign learners.
