FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is based off each and every clients individual needs, detailed requests, and personal hotspots. The number of bedrooms & bathrooms is considered. The date of the last cleaning, and whether or not they're pets in the home. It is very important for the client to be clear on the differences between standard and deep cleanings. And also additional services not included in either of these cleanings and the quotes. Pro's on Thumbtack are charged a ridiculous amount of money to bid on or just reply to a service request. For this reason, I have had to raise my prices. Thumbtack also does not even show a Pro in the search results for potential clients to view their profiles unless the Pro allows them to chose the jobs they think the Pro would want and then automatically charge the Pro for that lead. Regardless of whether or not the Pro is available or wants to bid on that job. The Pro is charged for communicating with a potential client whether they want or get the job or not.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A phone consultation with pictures of the home Or a Walk-through consultaion. Both answering and asking questions about all the details of the cleaning. Any hotspots? Understanding the expectations of the client. Requesting the client to have all personal items, and papers picked up and put away prior to our arrival. Dates and times for our services. Payment methods.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I owned an automotive detail shop for 10 years. Cleaning the interior/exterior of cars, trucks, boats and upholstery . Gaining knowledge of products and the surfaces and materials they are safe and best used on. I owned and operated a Restaurant/Bar&Grill maintaining an A Rating for ten years. Hiring and training a full kitchen and bar staff of 15 plus employees, all with food handler's licenses during the time of their employment. Starting a pro-cleaning business in 2010. I also am a single mother of three kids, and understand first hand the challenges and difficulties of working full time and raising a family. Keeping your home clean and organized, cooking, doing laundry, and running kids where they need to be requires the ability to be prepared, multi-task, and delegate. And to keep structure and schedules in the home, but also be flexible when needed.
