Introduction: A Wichita, Kansas native, Damon Sublett is your typical Midwestern guy: hospitable, warm, and industrious—but then he’s more! While Damon has always been excited about buying and selling property, his childhood and college years were spent nurturing his first passion: baseball. With a great love for this sport, and even stronger skills, he was drafted for the New York Yankees—one of the most recognized sports organizations in the world.
For many professional players, injuries can sometimes mean early retirement, and that was the case for Damon back in 2013. Not one to give up, Damon redirected his energies towards his education and completed a Bachelor’s degree from Wichita State University. He also took courses for a Fire Science degree, following which he went on to work at the Wichita Fire Department.
Damon’s love for his hometown goes hand-in-hand with his love for the world. Having traveled to nearly all the 50 states, and also abroad to Mexico, Jamaica and the Cayman Islands, he has met and interacted with people from various backgrounds and walks of life. These experiences are part and parcel of what he offers: international perspectives, tolerance and an open mind.
It’s no surprise that – armed with this insight, his people skills and an enthusiasm for real estate – he decided to pursue a long-time goal of becoming a real estate agent. Damon is presently licensed with the state of Kansas and works with Kansas Real Estate Consultants, where he offers services primarily focused on residential properties. He prides himself on professionalism, and is affiliated with several organizations including the Realtors of South Central Kansas, the Kansas Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors.
When Damon isn’t buying or selling property, you can find him playing golf, enjoying the outdoors, and spending time with his wife Amber and their daughter Quinn Rene.
