FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our customers are intelligent, and they can see right away that our prices aren't cheap. This is because we don't do cheap work and give all of our time, resources and skill to doing the kind of job you would do yourself. Parts of your window you see and DON'T see are cleaned. Although this is obvious both in our prices and quality of work, we still give our future and existing customers discounts should they choose to use our services. We will email them if we are in their area taking care of another job, and take care of their windows for a discounted price. We will at times send our customers special offers through emails. We NEVER have any hidden fees, taxes, or fee's of any other kind. We believe in honesty with our customers, so what we quote is upfront and final.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We typically get their information and put them in our system for future promotions and discounts. We take their number, email, and address of the location they want cleaned. We send them a final quote after speaking with them about the project they need done, as sometimes they may want to add items cleaned that Thumbtack may not offer such as tracks, or frame cleaning. Once we send them a final quote, they can accept it, and we will schedule a day for their cleaning that works for them if the same day is not available. Once we leave to head to the place the client has directed us, we will let them know.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to New York for training on cleaning. It was a rigorous course that covered many things like floor cleaning, waxing, bathroom and toilet cleaning using hands free techniques and equipment. It also had building maintenance, window cleaning and much more! I got an education on the impact that heat, chemicals, and irritation all have on the surface to be cleaned and disinfected, and the ratio they should have among themselves. I came back to California and in my 20's I learned about diseases and mold and how they impact your home and household, I spent 3 years practicing and learning how to disinfect certain items in buildings for the safety of those having weak immune systems. I worked for a top quality company that cleaned computer server rooms for high end customers and entire Unified school districts, this taught me important skills on the impact of cleaning equipment on your sensitive electronics, which is good to have if someones cleaning windows next to your computer.
