- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
There is always a no obligation, free evaluation with my potential clients and their pets. During this evaluation I like to ask questions to see what they clients main concerns are, answer any questions they may have about myself or Highland Canine. We can talk about different training methods and tools we use and see what approach is best for them and their pet.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have always had a fascination with how dogs behave, why and how we can better communicate with them. In the past year I found and studied at Highland Canine School for Dog Trainers and attended their 6 month training program for Master Dog Trainers. Needless to say I have stuck with them since. I am now working with them and help train the police dogs in detection, trailing, and bitework. I also help with all of the service dogs and take the out on adventures, work on tasks, and obedience. It has been quite an adventure and I continue expanding my horizons with this worthy business.
