Introduction: Makeup artistry has been a lifelong passion and creative outlet of mine, giving me the opportunity to enhance and glamorize ones natural features. I take my time with each client and not only do I take into account what the client requests, I also customize each look based on skin tone, facial structure hair color and overall theme/event. I have worked as a surgical/cosmetic registered nurse, with more than 15 years of experience in my field. Working many years in the art of plastic surgery, both in Orlando and San Francisco, I have been privileged to work alongside a number of prestigious surgeons, gaining a knowledge-base and comprehensive understanding of facial symmetry and aesthetics.

My makeup was perfect! Tara listened carefully to what I wanted, heard my concerns as I was an older bride and the wrong application would show more lines and such than I would want on my big day. She was patient, kind, funny. Beautiful personality. Everyone told me how beautiful my makeup looked, especially my eyebrows, which she confesses is her best artistry. I would STRONGLY RECOMMEND her talents and personality for any big event you are planning. Just OUTSTANDING!

Tara was extremely flexible when I needed to make some changes because I was running behind (weekend of my wedding!). She did an incredible job on my makeup as well as my mother's, two completely different styles. Very professional and talented. I would highly recommend!

Tara did an absolutely amazing job on my makeup as well as my 2 friends. From the very beginning, she took the time to make sure she understood what I wanted and didn't want. I've only gotten my makeup done a few times before but I was never happy with it. Tara gave me the exact look I was looking for! I also loved the fact that she was very accommodating for me and my friends. She came early to set up and was very professional and super friendly. We had only booked her for makeup but then spent the time to do hair as well. I wouldn't hesistate to recommend Tara for any makeup occasion you have!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
With each client, I like to determine what your comfort level is with makeup application. Scheduling a makeup trial is important if its a big event, ie wedding, engagement, etc so we can assure that you love what you see. I really listen to each client and make sure you are 100% satisfied.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've been fascinated with experimenting and creating different looks with cosmetic products since a young age. I love contouring and enhancing ones features with the use of makeup application.
