- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We are proud to offer an adoption special! Enjoy your first training session at a discounted rate as our way of saying thank you for choosing rescue! With a rich history in rescue, Joyful Dogs understands how much of an adjustment period bringing home a new dog can be. Any adoptive parent that has brought home their new pet within the past month can take advantage of our adoption special. We will provide you with a consultation, education about acclimating a new dog into your home, and address any concerns you may already have. We will also give you a personalized training plan to help your new dog's transition into the home be as seamless as possible.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every first-time training session begins with a 30 minute free consultation. We'll discuss any and all concerns, break down troublesome behavior, and custom tailor a plan that best suits your household's needs. Each training session will be followed by a same-day email breaking down what we covered and suggested "homework" to make sure what your dog has learned sticks. All first time pet sitting and dog walking clients will receive a free consultation during which we’ll take the time to best understand your pet’s needs. We’re committed to providing a seamless transition from your pet's time with you, to their time with us.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Falynn got her start at North Shore Animal League, the world’s largest no-kill shelter. While pursuing her masters in Animal Behavior she was exposed to, and worked with, thousands of dogs. Excessive fear, aggression, unruly behavior, and typical puppyhood- she’s seen it all. Falynn had the pleasure of working with, and learning from, a team of likeminded force free trainers. Constantly looking to expand her knowledge to best serve her clients, she is a certified professional trainer and completes continuing education through CCPDT.
