FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a standard hourly labor rate that I use for all my jobs. I do not charge mileage or have a minimum service charge. Here is the nuts and bolts of how my hourly labor rate works: Lets say for the sake of demonstration my labor rate is $10 per hour. I come to your house and do a job for you that takes me 4 hours labor to complete at your house. I also drove 30 minutes to your house so it will take me an additional 30 minutes to drive back home. So I would charge 1hour for driving and 4 hours for job labor for a total of 5 hours. 5 hours ✖ $10 equals $50 total labor. Of course we would minus out any time for breaks and conversations that get carried away with and off the subject of the job. In my industry we call this Bullsh%#Ng.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Meeting and working with new clients is exciting. I look forward to expanding my customer base as well as the fun in new projects. I like to be very clear and up front about the way I run my business and what I expect from my new clients from the beginning. Likewise, I expect the same from them in order for me to understand completely and deliver the best in workmanship, quality, functionality and affordability in their project as possible. I look forward to meeting new people and showcasing my talents. I love it when I finish a project for them and they see it or use it for the first time how excited they get and how much they like it. It feels great to please your customers and have them brag on your workmanship.
