FAQs
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask the coach about how they will deal with your nutrition. There's a problem with a large part of the industry these days. People want meal plans and want to be told what to eat, but the question is how long can you eat the same things every day? There will come a point where you will binge, eat a huge amount of food that you've been limiting yourself from, feel guilty, and quit. My advice to you, if you work with any coach that teaches clients flexible dieting(Macros, IIFYM), is that you should be ready to learn. The ability to be able to hit macronutrient numbers with whatever you want to eat during the day is a skill that takes patience and consistency to build. I as a coach don't expect you to be perfect after your first, second, or even third month, but in time when you have fully learned how to track your intake of food, you won't feel guilty for eating ice cream. You can make the foods you enjoy fit your macronutrient intake without the guilt of thinking you're back tracking, or the urge to go and binge. Again, its a learning process, and something that will benefit you for the rest of your life, so be patient with yourself as you're learning how to do it.
