- What types of customers have you worked with?
We have worked with a wide range of clients over the years. From authors and narrators on audio books, actors and announcers for over dubs in film/tv/video games to businesses producing radio and tv ads. Musicians from various genres who are students, garage bands, or world famous instrumentalists have recorded multiple albums and demos at our facility as well.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Have a budget in mind and a realistic time table set. Being prepared to start when you enter the studio can dramatically reduce your production costs. Most hit records before 2000 had large budgets and would rent the studio for weeks at a time. They would spend days working on one part of a song or adding layers of overdubs. Now since most projects are independent of record labels, bands have to manage their budget by arranging parts, creating pre-production demos, and rehearsing outside of the studio.
