Introduction: I'm a French born Chinese who went to an international school in Hong Kong before obtaining a B.A. from Hampshire College in Amherst, MA. I have 9 years of teaching experience and 5 years of experience in teaching and tutoring French and English as a second language (ESL). I'm also certified with having completed a course in teaching ESL students in mainstream classrooms by the government of South Australia, Department of Education and Children's Services. I also have 10 years of experience in vocal directing and vocal arrangement, including musical productions, choruses and a cappella groups. I have been a vocal performer for 15 years. The first video in the media gallery shows art projects I created for students as an artist-in-residence at Yew Chung International School. It is not directly related to language teaching but gives you an idea of my language skills and investment in creative education. The second video is the performance of a song I arranged and soloed with my college a cappella group 8 years ago.

We all are grateful could have tutorial from Ms Lau, Claire in English Subject for my daughter in Hong Kong during 2011 - 2012. Ms Lau shown herself very very helpful, technique and patient so that my daughter really enjoy and happy during her professional teaching. It was wonderful to have Claire as a french tutor in Hong Kong! I had learnt so much in just a year, covering 80% of the grammar tenses and have studied almost three french books. Claire was kind to share some of her singing experience and techniques as well. Furthermore, she gave a few lessons on drawing and sketching techniques too. Now studying high school overseas and doing French as an elective subject, I received an average of As for reading and comprehension and as of last month, got full marks and 98% in my French oral assessment and exam.
