We hired Kendra for our wedding day and she was just AWESOME to work with - from beginning to end! She is very accommodating. We asked her to come to us for a tasting (not her norm) because of our busy schedule and she was willing to do so. I had my sister, best friend and his girlfriend there as well and everyone enjoyed her food, as well as her company! She is loads of FUN - great personality! On our wedding day, she and her team made sure everyone was fed in a timely manner. She did an awesome job at dealing with difficult family members as well (we all have some of those). Kendra and her staff were absolutely AMAZING! They catered a full-service event for me and the food as well as service were top notch. Her and the staff arrived on time and were extremely professional and helpful. The guests commented on how nice everything was and the food was gone without a thing to spare. I would certainly use her catering service and recommend them to anyone looking to host an event whether it be big or small. We hired Kendra to cater our wedding. She is very affordable and sweet and her reviews were very positive so we were excited to hire her. I trusted her a lot and unfortunately I ended up being very frustrated and disappointed. First of all Kendra herself wasn't even at the wedding, her sister was there and informed me that Kendra had triple booked herself (she specifically assured me this was something she wouldn't do)... Nothing against her doing that if the rest of the team would have been ok to run without her, but that wasn't the case. First of all they showed up without the food warmers, so when they finally got them and people were finally able the eat, the food was lukewarm. They also forgot to put out the salad until my overwhelmed mother reminded them. Second of all we paid to have enough food for 150 guest. Lucky for us many people left after the ceremony, so I would approximate that only about 120 people actually ate.. but by the end they didn't even have enough food for those guest. My mom made stuffed cabbage rolls in addition (we are Romanian so we wanted some traditional food) and thankfully those were still left for the guests who didn't get the caterer's food. Secondly they didn't bring any drinks or water. I asked Kendra to bring Sweet tea and water and they simply didn't bring any at all. Thankfully my dad bought a few cases of bottled water to have for backup and I'm so glad he did. I am thankful that she offered to change the salad to a Romanian cabbage salad which was nice and she was very nice to talk to, and the food she did bring was lukewarm but very tasty, but unfortunately extremely unreliable and disappointing. My guest went hungry and thirsty and I was extremely stressed during my wedding day because of her. I would not hire her again. Addition after response: I am not sure we really understand what is being said in this reply. Everything said in the response to our comment goes against what we were told and the truth about what happened. All we did was accept a bid given by this company. The food was cold when served. There was not enough food for the people we had (we had much less than we said we would). Also, the owner, who said she never double booked did not show up because she double booked. Drinks were promised and not brought. We did not try to beat down the price, we just opted out of some of the options provided, as we were told we could. Some of our guests did not get food, and most didn't get enough, and we heard about it... from our guests, on our wedding day. The parents did not ask anything. That was the professional wedding planner who agreed that this company did not provide the services promised. We are trying to be honest and respectful.
