had a tree struck by lightening this Spring and 5 others needing to be pruned of dead wood. Chris took out the dead tree and cut the branches and trunk into fireplace sized pieces, that he neatly stacked near the tree. He was very professional and informative. Even though Chris had farther to come, he also had the lowest price and best attitude.

I was very happy with my service! The Dougans came out the same day we contacted them. They cut the tree down the same day and cut it up and hauled it away at an EXTREMELY great price!! They were so very nice and professional. I highly recommend them if you have any tree cutting service needs! Will be calling on them again.

I made the appointment through Thumbtack and it was confirmed by the service for an 8-8:30am window. They didn’t show for the appointment and didn’t answer my calls or respond to my voicemail. They responded to my Thumbtack message 3 hours after my scheduled appointment to apologize and to call them even though: 1 they should be the ones to call me and 2: I already called twice and left a voicemail. They are very disorganized and unproffesional to say the least. I will not be using them.

Although you set an appointment through Thumbtack, my initial correspondence with you specifically requested requested that you contact me by phone to discuss your needs prior to me bidding the job. I have arrived on site to previous bids to not having a customer at home or the job not being as described in our correspondence, and I do not have the time or money to invest on trips that are not mutually beneficial.
I operate a tree service, and that requires running chainsaws at a much higher decibel level than the ringer on my phone. I did miss your immediately consecutive calls, but did respond immediately upon getting your message. Upon getting your voicemail (from which I obtained your phone number for the 1st time in this transaction), I returned that as well. You didn't answer to either, and instead felt that a 1-star review on my otherwise unblemished 5-star rating was the proper course of action.
By no means is this interaction indicitive of my professionalism ((1) "f"), or my ability to complete my jobs at a higher level than my competitors. Your review is based on a tranation that never took place, and I would hope my future customers will weigh that accordingly. Thank you for your time.
