Elise helped me organize and clear out my home from clutter prior to selling my house. She also helped me stage the house for pictures as well. Elise did a wonderful job organized our office! With a small office space for 4, sometimes 5 working adults, we needed help with prioritizing our needed items and deciding what we would eliminate. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I charge $60/ hour for my Professional Organizing services. I offer a discount when you purchase my 10-hour package up front: 10 hours for $500.00. For Personal Assistant/Concierge Services & packing/moving coordination assistance my rate is $35/ hour. **There is a prerequisite of at least 10 hours of organizing with me before I will offer these services.**
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?We begin with a phone consultation wherein we get acquainted and determine if I offer the kind of assistance the client is looking for and/or what the client needs is within my expertise and specialization. If we are a match an in person home consultation is scheduled to continue getting to know each other, explore goals, expectations, the process of becoming and remaining organized, we will tour the home revealing all storage places such as cabinets, drawers, closets, garage, attic/basement, etc; I will take before photos to be used only for the clients benefit to track & reveal progress and together we will discuss a price estimate and schedule our first session.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Women's Studies and Masters degree in Social Work from California State University, Long Beach. I have over 10 years experience listening, problem-solving, stream-lining processes, demonstrating compassion, understanding, and making a difference in people's lives working in the fields of Human Services and Social Work. Additionally, growing up in a home with a Mother and Brother who both live with Attention Deficient Disorder, I learned how to create order and use organization as a way to modify my environment and contribute to the serenity in our family. I am committed to assisting people learn how the discipline & regular practice of Organization creates more freedom, flow, and function not only in their home but in their lives!
