- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Standard pricing is difficult. If someone tells you they have a set price expect less than you expected for a professional to design a home that will sell for top dollar.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The initial interview can be very relaxed but professional. I may ask over the phone if there is anything about your property that might be important for me to know. I tour the home and take pictures as well as measurements. I work on my inspirations and begin a design plan. After which I return and discuss the ideas I have developed, and the price to preform the work. I must view the properties before listing.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always on the look for new ideas. Television, if you believe that is a good educational tool. Professional trade magazines and Model homes provide me the spark to create my own touch of imagination to a home.
