They replaced our Garage Service Door. The job was scheduled and executed promptly. The workmanship was excellent, including the customization of a jamb extension and boring of an additional hole in the metal clad door to be able to replace our existing custom lockset and dead bolt. They also helped in providing a solution to flashing the top of the exterior casing to avoid future rain infiltration. The "after job" cleanup was immaculate. Bill Horton responded quickly and effectively to all of my calls and questions. I'm very pleased to be working with this professional, courteous and personable team of craftsmen.

They did an awesome job with a water heater replacement they did for me. They were able to quote me with just some pictures and work with the necessary subcontractors to set up a timely schedule. I will definitely use them again!

They were responsive when I was inquiring and flexible when I had to change our schedule last minute. They had to cut out and remove a cabinet so we could install a dishwasher and they did so without damaging the countertop. I'm very excited to have a dishwasher in my home! I highly recommend Horton

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Ask questions to ensure we understand scope of the project. Visit the site or request photos, if necessary, to understand scope of project. We like to provide a written estimate and discuss the estimate to ensure our client's are informed about approximate pricing and what is included in that pricing. We like to be as transparent as possible so our clients are comfortable with us and our process. We usually like our estimates signed prior to job start and half down of the estimate cost may be required.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I love researching smart home ideas. I am also always on the look-out for new and innovative ways to take care of homes and share anything beneficial with our clients. I also take trade exams and buy code books yearly to ensure our company is fully qualified and knowledgeable.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Legacy. My father has passed on a lot of knowledge that many tradesman have never learned. I believe I can help homeowners more than any other contractor with this knowledge and I do not want that knowledge to end with my dad or myself.
