- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have an hourly fee for consultation, shopping for or with the client and give a 20% discount on any items (furniture, fabrics, fixtures & faucets, lighting, carpet, flooring and accessories) purchased through my company at any "to the trade" showrooms.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Meeting them on the phone to find out what their needs and wants are, what their budget is and time line and then explaining my fee and how I work. If there is a connection between us and we both feel comfortable, we set up a meeting at the client's home or office.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Certificate of Interior Design from Ron Baron's School of Interior Design, Costa Mesa, CA, completed the Interior Design Society (IDS) test and have been working as a designer for 30 yrs. Also, worked as an Account Manger for a Herman Miller dealer in Long Beach, CA and owned my own workroom for 3 yrs with a partner.
