John was very dependable and professional. He re-did my whole bathroom from tile to painting (even helped picking the color that would look best). He was very inexpensive. I will be using him for all my projects!

Said he would work for $20 per hour then showed up and wanted $250 to install a door. Bait and switch bull crap. Not at all honest

The reason I declined to work for Dan because he needed a contractor for structural work, and my license only covers handyman work. When I explained this to Dan while I was there, he stated "For $25 an hour you'll do whatever I tell you to." I never actually quoted him a price while I was there - he's the one who quoted to me what he was willing to pay.
He doesn't seem to understand the governing laws for this kind of work in the State of Florida, or perhaps he's trying to circumvent them to pay less than he would a contractor.
