FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
No, each project is different. and bid accordingly.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet in person at the project location and get a detailed idea of what they want, if they know. If they don't know I get a reasonable idea and try to help them with the details. I then usually draw a print of the project, along with an estimate based on the drawing, for their review. If they like it, we agree on a start date, get deposit, and order materials If they don't like it, I make changes to print, do another estimate, and re submit, until they are happy.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In High School I took every shop type of class offered, and worked half a day my senior year at a machine shop building jet engines also furthering my education. I have also taken numerous classes offered by places I've worked for in the past. I'm a certified Class A stick welder, and might welder. I have licence to operate forklifts, excavators, back hoes, and skid steers. Each licence requiring classes and testing. I've been fortunate in having worked with some very talented people in various projects, learning as much as I can whenever I can.
