FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is based on the job: the time involved and enhancement of images afterwards. In general it is a fixed fee. My images are posted on my web-site and can be purchased at reasonable prices...
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I tend to prefer reading tutorials online by Brian Peterson (B.P.S.O.P) and also shutterbug magazine online. If you want to hone your skills and keep on getting better, you have to continually read and learn from the experts. Photography is a lifelong course- it never ends.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
In the mid 1970's, my family owned a travel agency in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea. Seeing countless images from all over the globe really peeked my interest. I met the owner of the photo lab next door named Klaus Neiman. We started to talk about the art/profession and a particular camera- the Canon FT-b. Soon afterwards, I purchased the aforementioned Canon AT-1 and the rest is history.
