FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Commissions are negotiable in California. Every situation is different and will be discussed face to face. Of course there is no fee for the buyers when I represent them on a purchase.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If I am working with a seller, I will set up the initial meeting to preview my client's home. I will then do a thorough walk through of the property and make suggestions for preparing the home for listing. Once the property is ready, I will have my professional photographer come in and take high quality photos for our advertising and MLS photos. And then the work begins. With my buyer clients, I set up a meeting to discuss their needs first and then make suggestions that would help them make an informed purchasing decision. Once I know what my buyers are looking for, I will set up a tour of homes and then learn from my clients what they are looking for. After this tour, I will analyse the clients budget, needs and what they are able to get for their budget and then get started with finding the perfect home for them.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, in order to keep my Real Estate License, I have to take new courses every four years to keep my license active. I also attend seminars and market update meetings and technology classes every chance I get to keep up with the latest in the market.
