- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It is normally about $60 per hour but sometime it is better for the customer to receive a flat rate. For instance, virus removal is a lengthy process but it normal doesn't require much interaction. You install and start the virus removal software and watch it run and read the details at the end. This is normally priced at a flat rate.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get as much information as possible regarding the issue so I can give a more precise quote to my potential customer.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 15 years of experience working in the Information Technology industry which includes several years of Customer Service, hands on break-fix computer and printer issues. I have technical certifications such as CompTia A+, Network+ and Security+.
