FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We price our structural repairs, chemical treatments, and fumigations on a sliding basis based on the square footage, age, and amount of work to be done. Because many fac- tors have an effect on pricing, we cannot pin ourselves down on standard prices.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After introducing myself to the customer,I ask how I can help them. They proceed to show me a specific area or areas of concern. When I confirm their suspicions, I tell what the procedure will be to eradicate the problem. I explain to them in detail what we plan to do, how long it will take, and as to whether they should leave or if they can stay. I tell them that after I finish, I will go over my findings and answer all their questions.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
For the renewal of my license, I attend classes, seminars, and conferences to keep me abreast of and up to date on the latest new techniques, innovations, and proce- dures relating to my Branch III license. I am also certified in Lead Abatement Procedures to insure that if repairs to be done by us on a home built before 1978 will be in compliance with rules and regulations set down by EPA and OSHA.
