Introduction: First off, I am an artist who takes a lot of pride in my work. I am a freelance artist who can kind of do it all. I do wedding updos, prom styles, as well as coloring, highlights, haircuts as well as straightening hair and braiding! I love connecting with my clients and learning about their own personal style, likes and dislikes in order to cater to them better. Any client of mine is a friend to me. I also like to offer suggestions that will enhance their look and face shape. My favorite thing about my business is making people feel beautiful and showing the great potential that they have. On your wedding day, I am all yours. I will travel to your wedding site, help you get in your dress, as well as take care of all of your bridesmaids. I am always staying current with new trends and techniques. I am trained in Matrix, Schwarzkopf, and Redken products. I have been educated by Guy Tang, Kim Vo and Stephanie Brinkerhoff. I attend out-of-state hair shows and interact with other hairstylists from all over the country. I have been told by many of my clients that they feel so relaxed around me.

I had my hair colored for the first time, I'm natural and was afraid to change my color, but she reassured me that it would be fine, she cut my dead ends and colored my hair. I'm so happy i put my trust in her hands.she is very knowledgeable and explain everything she would be doing and told me how to take care of it. My hair came out beautiful and looked so healthy after her trim.

I was Matron of Honor in a wedding and needed evening makeup. Heather do an amazing job. She did exactly what I requested but went above and beyond and made me feel truly beautiful. I had several blemishes on my face and a spot on my bottom lip, that were so well hidden, my skin looked absolutely perfect. The makeup held up for over 12 hours with only a little powder touch up halfway through the day. Even my lashes stayed on through wedding tears and a whole night of dancing. Heather was also great to work with, cool personality, discussed everything she planned on doing, and she worked really quickly (we were in a time crunch.) I've never had my makeup professionally done before and it was such a fantastic first time. I'll definitely be back!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Everytime I work on someone I do a through consultation so I have a clear understanding as to what they are wanting.. After that I customize colors, cuts and styles to fit their desired look and enhance theur natural features
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been attended classes by Guy Tang and Stephanie Brinkerhoff out in Chicago. I am certified in doing Peter coppola keratin treatments.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Actually it's pretty funny.. When I was a little girl Id lock myself in the bathroom and mix my older sisters conditioners and shampoos together to make up my own special hair therapy treatments.. Needless to say... Id get in trouble for it.. In this business I pretty much do the same thing except this time it's developing formulas for customized hair color.. I really started experimenting with color a little over 10 years ago while I was in high school. I've always been very outgoing and helping people so this career has always made sense to me
