Full time job and full time student. I was so relieve and happy to arrive home and find a wonderful smell and very clean house. Really love their crew, very professional and nice people. Arrive to work and were very detail in everything! Would totally contact them again!! Totally recommend them

I wanted SO much to give Marioli 5 stars because they cleaned my condo impeccably. I hired her to deep clean it for a new tenant moving in soon and was very happy with the outcome. I know they worked hard on it.
Unfortunately, I ended up feeling scammed among other things.
The issue wasn't that English is their 2nd language ("their" because it seemed like various people were communicating), but that their business practices were lacking. We had to exchange several messages because of less than adequate responses and information. My mother met them to open the door the first time (I am out-of-state) and they were late, but they gave a very reasonable estimate to clean the unit and were polite and so I hired them. My 84 yr. old mother then met them again so they could clean the unit, and she had to wait 50 minutes in her car as they were late again. They did not call or text to say they were running late but they did apologize.
Five minutes after getting into my unit to clean it, after my mom had left, they texted me that it would be $50 more because of the charge they pay "for the page". It felt like a bait and switch. We had agreed to $200 to clean the unit, and sadly, had they just said $250 in the beginning, I would have paid that, and I would have given them a nice tip for the job they did, but at that point, I felt scammed.
And so I contacted Thumbtack to verify if they charge for each text and they do not. They charge a one time fee of $11+ for the lead, of which they could have included in the estimate if they wanted to recoup it...yet they said they have to charge me because they pay for all the messages. Who knows, maybe they pay when they email on their cell phone...but still they said "the page". Regardless...
I would have used them every time I needed my unit clean, I would have tipped them well, but I walked away feeling unsettled and upset.
And so if it was just about the cleaning I would hire them again in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, I need people I can trust, and while they did apologize in the end, they lost my trust so I won't be hiring them again.
Perhaps they learned from this and moving forward they will handle the business side a little better. I do know they clean very well so it may be worth it for someone else to give them another chance.
