Alaska Investigations Group
About this pro
We have a team of talented and experienced investigators to tackle conventional and technical client needs. We have supported the civil and/or criminal litigation case needs and we can confidently assert that we are the best in Alaska for these types of cases. We are in this business because we are passionate about helping clients who are stuck in potentially controversial situations that need quality investigative help. Often parties lawyer up, and end up saying "I know there has got to be more we can do"... This is true. There is more that you can do... That's what we like about our industry is that we are available when disaster strikes or to prevent disasters from happening. We like to anticipate change and appreciate clients who understand the benefit of protecting themselves with a private investigator. The necessary disclaimer for all of our clients is that hiring us is a legitimate risk and they need to know that they need to be clear on their budget and/or needs before operations begin.

Q & A
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? We do not have a complicated pricing system. We have no fees. We only have a flat hourly rate, a mileage rate and an initial retainer. Clients are continuously in the loop with how many hours are being worked and how many hours they wish to add and/or subtract before, during and after operations are conducted. It is noteworthy to mention that it's in our clients best interest to advise us of hours needed before operations begin so that we can limit our case activities in accordance of client directives. We do not wish to exceed our clients budget, and if we do; it is not intentional or we have done so in our clients best interests for his/her case needs. We do not guarantee that we will stay within the budget proposed by our client(s) if the budget is not articulated clearly before operations begin.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?A large part of our work requires us to stay abrest on electronic device trends, legal issues, privacy issues, legal collection of evidence procedures, products and uses. We strive to stay abreast on Alaska specific issues and we currently advocate and encourage local PI Alaska specific licensing for Private Investigators.
- How did you get started doing this type of work? It's all about helping people and anticipating change. We spent several years in the military and law enforcement communities and realized that helping people was worth the time, training, sacrifice and effort. We have made a positive difference in our clients lives. Now that we are out of the restraints of government professions, we still find it necessary to help people in need and to legally support our clients the best way we know how. This line of work is great for those who are deciders, initiators and thinkers who want to help clients who may fall victim to the civil and/or criminal justice system.
