Denise M. says, "The customer support staff at StookU have been exceptional. When I have a problem, they are quick to respond with a solution, they give timely reminders, help with tech problems (though it's always on my end), take care of scheduling issues and are extremely courteous and thorough in all the services they provide. The company itself provides vocal and instrumental lessons and mentoring. They are a young company and relatively small, though expanding, and everything that I've seen so far - from their coaches and mentors to the sites/platforms, which foster a great community feeling, to the aforementioned customer service - have been well thought out, helpful and effective."See more

Cj V. says, "Robert was incredible to work with! He did a great job understanding where I was in my guitar playing journey and tailored our lessons specifically to help me get better. He is extremely knowledgeable as a guitar player and was able to relate to all of the different types of music that I was trying to play. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to further their guitar skills!"See more

Gurleen K. says, "Scotty is singlehandedly the best guitar teacher I have ever hired, and this statement comes from someone who has been taking guitar lessons since 2011. What sets Scotty apart is his remarkable ability to listen attentively while simultaneously pushing me to surpass my limited knowledge of the guitar. Instead of relying on rote memorization, he instills in me a deep understanding of the instrument. One of the things I appreciate most about Scotty is his knack for tailoring our lessons to suit my individual needs and aspirations. This personal touch truly sets apart Scotty's teaching style and ensures a unique experience for each student. Furthermore, Scotty is incredibly accommodating when it comes to scheduling. He understands that life can be unpredictable, and if I ever need to cancel a lesson, within the 24-window notice, he is understanding and flexible. Additionally, he goes the extra mile by sending me detailed notes after each session, allowing me to practice effectively and make progress between lessons. Scotty's supportive nature creates an environment where I feel comfortable enough to sing and explore my creative side. Above all, Scotty's genuine passion for the guitar shines through in every interaction. I consider myself incredibly fortunate and honored to be his student. Thank you, Scotty, for your dedication and expertise. I eagerly look forward to our upcoming lesson on Wednesday!"See more

I love to hear people learn to play the piano, and I love to teach. Although my most of my students are young, I do also teach adults, and it is never too late to learn. Parents enjoy the abilities I have to work with their children, and adults enjoy the confidence that is gained in being able to play music they love in a short period of time. Lessons include: * Technique: scales, arpeggios, chords to develop finger and arm movement and assist in the understanding of music theory * Repertoire: consisting of a variety of musical styles with pieces that are both challenging and enjoyable to play * Appreciation: teaching to listen for and appreciate the different types of music, and in addition, be able to play them * Theory: the ability to understand how to read music * Chording: the ability to play "fake music" as a requirement for most music styles * Performance: recitals to showcase each students musical abilities, to familiarize students with proper recital etiquette, and to increase comfort in front of an audience. These performances may be both informal and formal. My fees going to your place are discounted at 35.00 per lesson per student for 3 or more students. 2 students or less are 40.00 per lesson.See more
