Hired on Thumbtack
Against my better judgement I hired this pro after being warned by another pro not to hire someone based off of a cheaper price with no reviews. The pro provided pictures of tile work he claims to have done himself, however his work in my home didn’t compare to the work he claimed to have completed elsewhere. The first installation I wasn’t happy with because the end tiles were chipped and uneven. However, he did come back as promised and fixed the issue I had a problem with. He was supposed to come back two days later to grout but never showed back up. It has now been two MONTHS later and he has yet to come back after several messages and calls were made. At this point I’m tired of chasing after him. Unfortunately, I will be taking this man to small claims court. I hate to have to do this but I paid him what he was asking plus more to complete a job and he never showed back up. I’ve hired several pros through Thumbtack and this is the only pro that I’ve been unsatisfied with.
