- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Quarterly service generally start at $81.00. With a credit card, you can set up a subscription plan and pay monthly towards your quarterly service. This makes it easier for budgeting. Special issues like Bed Bugs, Fleas, Rodents and German Roaches cannot be priced over the phone. I have dealt with customers that think they have an infestation when they don't. I have also dealt with those that have seen one or two and find out it is way worse. It's all about perception.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I first evaluate their situation. I will then make recommendations on how they can help themselves. We will need to determine if there are issues with chemical sensitivity. Some people get headaches when certain products are applied. Depending on the issue, I will then suggest a course of action. No two clients are alike so solutions will vary. We will discuss expectations. I want you to know what lies ahead. I do not up-sell. If you don't need it, I won't suggest it.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I worked with a smaller Pest Control company for about three years. I am constantly in contact with other PCP's (Pest Control Professionals) learning other techniques and products. I also attend training classes throughout the year as required by the State.
