If you need furniture assembled or junk removed, you can't go wrong with Monrow at BIC Mafia Transportation. I found this company on Thumbtack and as soon as I put in my request, Monroe was calling me to ask about the job that I needed. I purchased two king beds, two twin beds, and two lift recliners from Amazon, and all items needed to be put together. Initially, I thought that I might try to do the job by myself, but then I came to my senses. I spoke to Monroe, let him know what I needed and we set up a time for him to do the work.
Monroe contacted me two nights before the job to confirm the date and time. He was on time, moved all of the extremely heavy boxes with the furniture from the second to the third floor, and he even went above and beyond the job by removing sixteen 33-gallon bags of items removed from my parent’s linen closet. Monroe was diligent and professional. He put our items together with care at a very reasonable price. He made sure that the electrical elements (charging stations and LED lights) were working properly. He put the mattresses on the beds as well. In the end, he just put together the beds because Amazon couldn’t deliver the lift chairs by the date promised, but he is coming back to do those at a later.
Upon completion of the job, Monrow hauled away the trash from the furniture, the old furniture and mattresses, along with the 16 garbage bags I mentioned earlier.
I FULLY recommend using BIC Mafia Transportation for all your needs because if he says he can do it, I believe it, and I trust that he will get it done with a smile and a positive attitude for a reasonable rate.

The helper went out of his way to help me move all of my furniture from storage to my apartment! On average it took around 2 1/2 hrs. Due to it being only the two of us to help move all of it into my place. Also, because of me staying at the top level of my building. All in all, he still gave me a pretty reasonable deal & I would still prefer him to help me in the near future, again.

We love working with this company! We've hired them twice, and both experiences have been excellent. The owner is responsive, punctual, and great to work with. I gave this company 3 stars because the service was average, but not what I expected. While the movers did complete the job, there were several issues that left me dissatisfied. Communication could have been better, and the overall care and attention to detail were lacking. Moving is already stressful, and I was hoping for a smoother experience. I would recommend confirming all details ahead of time if you decide to use this company.
