FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I say in the loop with people in the field and thru Linked-In. I also do after action meetings after each job we do, to look for ways to improve quality, service, client relations, efficiency, pricing, etc.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
That depends somewhat on the season. Otherwise I would have to say fencing, painting, electrical, plumbing, and getting houses ready to sell.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Find the middle ground when it comes to price, unless you are being given a good discount. I you are given a super low price make sure they are insured (if they are insured they must have a license). If they are real expensive find out why. Also, don't pay more than material and rental costs up front. There is no reason for a legitimate company to ask for more than that. Don't be afraid of paying that up front though. Some companies do it because the have low working capital and others do it because its a way they can tell if you are likely to pay for the work when its done.
