We used Steve's company to put in a patio and update our landscape in the backyard. We thought it was a 2 week job but it took about 1 month from start to the end time. The patio is complete and we are happy with it. The landscape irrigation still needs work which we are contacting someone else to come and finish along with minor other touch ups that didn't get completed. The quality of the workmanship seems to be good overall. He seemed to have a problem with managing his employees. Maybe if he could schedule his jobs so they don't coincide with a present job that would be helpful to him. We would like to have had the job completely finished before we gave him the last payment as it didn't get competed after that. Steve seems to be a good guy, he has good intentions and ideas with landscapes. We wish him well in all his future endeavors.

First of all, I want to write the job went extremely well, my project was very complicated and required corrective tasks to coincide with normal sprinkler installation. My explanation is that I tried to do it myself and based on my lack of knowledge, my efforts were too much and lacked calibration for the amount of pressure current water flow would allow from my home. (My attempt failed) None-the-less, there was expense in my personal efforts that only Ideal Landscape would work with me on, this negotiation was the beginning of an outstanding result. You have two options when this team is working in your yard; stay in the house and let them complete or come outside and learn, trust me, they don’t mind teaching and offering tricks of the trade while performing the job. I would not doubt that someone could actually negotiate your personal efforts into the contract and save yourself expenses; where else would you find this with any other company. I attempted to negotiate with a larger sprinkler company whom informed me they would need to leave my efforts in the ground and work right over them, meaning that my investment was down the drain; however Ideal Logistics worked with me, meaning they used my existing efforts, however needed to enhance where necessary. I’m sure they will not be happy with me telling this story, as my job had many corrective actions that needed to take place, I’m sure it was an elevated effort over and beyond normal installation, however I can tell you, I did not hear any complaints, however received a level of experience that I will have from this day forward. Great job in my yard, I will hire them again in the future. What could they do better: I believe they should control the entire package; meaning that I actually ordered an additional meter from Huntsville Utilities, paid the fees for installation, was informed it would take 3 to 4 weeks; I checked in with HSV utilities at week 4 and 5, however Ideal Landscapes checked in for me on week 6 and discovered that HSV Utilities could not service my address, it must be Madison County (you would think HSV Utilities would have figured this out, they did not) so we had close the open order with HSV and re-open another order with Madison County (one would think the two would government agencies would partner together and help me to move this forward, neither did. HSV Utilities never apologized for their error in judgement when I made the service order) so I waited another 3 weeks for Madison County to install the additional meter. I believe if Ideal Landscape handled everything, this would not have happened, as they would not have asked HSV Utilities in the first place, they would have known to use Madison County and they know the rules of process. All in all, it’s installed now, this is all behind me when I submit this survey, thank you for reading.

We needed some drainage work done in our yard and landscaping to direct water away from the house and basement. Steve came in, gave me possibilities, helped me make decisions, and did an excellent job of carrying out the work. They came when they said they would, they worked in the rain, and they were always polite and friendly.

I started with my father Benny Bennich in 1996 here in Huntsville Alabama. he side if your going to do something do right the first time or dont do it at all.

look for someone that makes suggestions to save you money in the long run. that means that there look out for your best interests.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
there budget for the project makes it easier to help with products that fit there need and function.
