This was a one-piece move of a 200lb (est) amoire from an upstairs room to a downstairs room. The Muscled Up guys called about 20-30 minutes in advance of arriving and actually arrived before the promised time which worked out well for me. Let me tell you, these are BIG guys! I showed them where I wanted the amoire moved to, then took them upstairs and pointed out the amoire itself. No problem! They picked this thing up and walked it downstairs, never touched a wall or hand-rail. Placed it exactly where I asked in its new location. Asked if there was anything else? Start-to-finish, 15-20 minutes! The guys were friendly, jovial, polite. Price charged was the price quoted by phone when I made the arrangements. GREAT EXPERIENCE AND I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN!!!

These guys are awesome! I had a need for packers only to help me. Not only were they willing and able, but they suggested ways I could keep my costs down. I hired Muscled up Movers for a 1 bedroom apartment move. The movers called the morning of the move to notify me of their arrival time and once they were in the door and the paperwork was signed they began working. They were well prepared to take care of the move professionally with moving pads, straps to secure the cargo in the truck, and carpets and braces to make sure the apartment entrance was well taken care of as they moved things in and out. The two men that showed up did not waste any time and worked very hard the entire duration of the move. The only unfortunate incident that occurred was when they picked up the foot board of my bed the drawers housed within came sliding out and caused some damage to the furniture piece. They have sent someone out to repair the furniture piece and I hope it remains in good condition for future moves.

We have standard pricing. Two movers with a truck at $115 an hour. Two guys without a truck at $90 an hour.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure they are built and trained to do the job. Also, make sure they are licensed and insured to do the job.
