He pressure washed my home, garage, and sidewalk. He done an excellent job.
We found All Aspects Painting online. After reading the reviews, it seemed like a great choice to repaint the exterior of my house. Jason came out and proposed an estimate that was substantially less than offered by other painters. The work was completed promptly and looked amazing. Jason took the time to explain exactly what work was done and why he did it. He even performed the job for less than he had quoted! All Aspects was honest, talented and a pleasure to work with. Five stars.
Curtis Dycus (Dycus Construction) is the real deal. After my wife and I moved to Madison last year and bought our home, we started several construction projects. After building a detached, two-story garage, landscaping the front and back yards, and renovating our main home, I can say that I have had some "interesting" experiences with local contractors; late starts, (EXTREMELY) missed suspenses, and several broken promises, to name a few. That's why Curtis was a breath of fresh air! He quoted us very reasonable prices, showed up on time, met his suspenses, and actually did more work than we expected (paid attention to detail). Bonus: he cleaned up after himself (all the others left me with sawdust, debris, and cigarette butts)! Curtis is our guy! I would personally recommend him for any work that you need to have done, and that's not just grading on the curve. I can't say enough good things about this guy to let you know how pleased we are that we found him. Tim M. Madison
Brian is a great handyman! He shows up on time and has a great attitude and work ethic. He did a great job installing my door and although it was a lot more work than we both thought, he stuck to his quote. I plan on using his services whenever the need arises.
Rick painted the interior of my house, complete with doors and changing trim from oak stain to shiny white paint. There was a lot of cleaning out and rearranging to be done by me in each room. Rick gave me the time I needed to do my part and worked on my schedule. He and his crew were neat and thorough. Fair and reasonable. I highly recommend.
Turned around a great job on an incredibly tight time constraint. Needed a lot of help catching up on some basic maintenance work in the back yard. Steve responded with 24 hours, and had started working within 48. He put in a long day, but got everything done I had asked. Was more than happy to pay every bit he asked for and more for the quality work he did.
They did a good job and identified problems that I didn't know existed. Like all repair jobs I had a couple of items that had to be redone, but that wasn't a problem. They fixed everything to my satisfaction.
Izzy arrived on time and prepared to give a detailed quote. They made suggestions along the way of additional things that could be done, but were not pushy at all about trying to get change orders for those items. His work also comes with a 1 year warranty which I found very comforting. He was a joy to work with and I would absolutely hire him again.
Levi is someone I can trust in our outside my home at any time. He's responsible, communicative, fair, kind and always does a thorough and professional job. He cares a lot about detail and thinks his processes and approaches through to make sure the desired end is the best it can be. I'd recommend Levi to anyone.
The guys in F&F Construction performed cosmetic repairs and painted the detached garage belonging to my son's maternal grandparents. The were competent, courteous, conscientious, and economical. And showed up to do the job when they said they would. So I hired them to paint the kitchen and great room ceilings in my parents' house and put aluminum metal coverings over some fascia boards that had been bored into by wood bees. Once again, they did a great job. They also do the yard work for my parents, who live on an acre lot, and perform well at this task also.
Bill helped me out by pointing our front steps. We have about 10 brick steps that are about 8 feet wide. Now they look fantastic. He also replaced several broken cinder blocks under the house. Unfortunately, he (or his helper) left a lot of the old blocks and some trash under and around the house. We also had a broken brick on the side of the house he replaced. It took quite a while to get him out to us, but his price was unmatched and he seems to have done some good work.
Sam Howard and his crew at Pro Building Solutions remodeled our whole house for us. We had a projected time frame of 3 weeks (for only the bathroom remodel), added in a lot of custom details in the middle of the job, including taking out a wall, doing a custom beadboard wainscoting in the bathroom, changing out all of the outlets/switches in the entire house, and replacing all of the interior doors/hardware and somehow still ended up with only 3 weeks and 3 days in total for our job! We were more than satisfied with their performance! Every time we added something to the job, he would give us an estimation of how much time we were adding to the total of the job. In the end, they far exceeded our time frame in which we were expecting. There were quite a few different guys coming in and out of the house, but all of them were courteous, professional, and took the time to listen to our needs. Sam helped greatly with the design side. From start to finish he really made it an easy process in choosing which products to use based on our budget that we had presented him from the beginning of the job. We selected a few upgrades that put us over our budget, after all, you're only going to remodel once! However, we were able to save on some other materials that Sam had recommended during the process with his contractor prices. He also handled all of the delivery of our materials and never once charged us for the many hours of consultations he provided throughout the construction process. Here is the scope of work in which they performed for our house: Patched all of the sheet rock walls for paint. Removed a wall going into the living area opening up the living room to the hallway. Laid laminate flooring in the hallway. Changed out all of the doors and their respective hardware in the house. Changed out all of the outlets and switches from the old almond color to an updated white color. Changed the light in the guest bedroom to a ceiling fan with light. Replaced the rotten subfloor in the bathroom. Raised the vanity in the bathroom and refinished it. Removed the old tile wainscoting from the 60's and installed an updated wooden beadboard wainscot. Installed all accessories, mirror, and miscellaneous items I requested (at no additional cost!) Installed a GORGEOUS curbless tile shower up to handicap code for my elderly father who could not walk anymore (had to roll him in and out with a wheelchair). Changed out the 50 year old toilet to a new and updated toilet. Tiled the floor. And last but certainly not least, painted the whole house (1,400 square feet). By the end of the job, I felt like my whole house had undergone a face-lift! I absolutely hate the construction process (tearing my house apart) but all in all, Pro Building Solutions helped to make my project as easy and pain free as possible. They kept the job site clean every day, made sure I could park my car in the garage, and were always there to help me, even if it was to carry a few bags of groceries into my house on their lunch break. Overall, I would highly recommend Sam and Pro Building Solutions to anyone looking for a quality remodel and an affordable price! They went the extra mile for me and always communicated every step of the way. Any issues were addressed swiftly and as cost effectively as possible. Pro Building Solutions is the only company I will let work on my house!
We are totally pleased with Nora's service! Even more are her artistic skills..... it was pretty cool to see how she did 2 rooms. A lot of things were done in pencil, and THEN painted which was pretty cool to see because you get to see how the images kind of come to life. Our little girl wanted a sky scene in her room and there were detailed clouds everywhere.... as if you were floating around where airplanes would be. I told my uncle who had a little girl who is 2 now..... and Nora ended up doing lady bug designs. It was like Pixar had come to paint the room! Nora has mentioned that she only does this in her spare time as a hobby, but we have all told her that she is too good with art to not do this as some kind of career. You will be very pleased with her work. Ask her to show you her portfolio.... you can choose to have her paint small little drawings to frame in pictures to hang on the wall.... all the way up to designing and recreating a Disney/Pixar world on the walls as well. She also took the time to kind of sketch ideas of what you try to describe to her so she can get a better idea of what you would like her to do...only if you want her to. You could also just tell her just make it look cool with a theme, and she will draw/paint/spray stuff that you don't see anywhere. She will make it up and it just works somehow. Bottom line is our kids love it, and we sure are pleased with her service too, and you will too! Thanks Nora!
This crew is amazing! They've done lots in my house....roofing, electrical, cosmetic (carpet, paint, flooring) etc etc. It'll look amazing. No doubt.
