FAQs
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure they listen to you and you listen to them. I also provide a scope of work for any of my jobs so you will know exactly what is going to happen. If both parties sign off on it, everyone is in agreement as to what is to be expected at the close of the project.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Many people think interior decorating means something is expensive and you don't get a say in the final outcome. If you are speaking with a designer who makes you feel that way, I think you should get a second opinion. Interior design is about you - your style should be seen, in the final product. So when you think of talking to a professional about doing a design job for you don't be afraid to tell them your budget. After all its not going to change whether they know what it is or not. You have a limit and when you reach it you want to have something complete and as wonderful as you imagined it would be. That can't happen without open and honest communication.
