FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $50 per 45 minute session. Thumbtack.com only offers the 60 minute option but the session will be 45 minutes. I require a minimum 6 hour cancellation notice. I do not ask you to sign a contract but I do require you to pay 1 month in advance.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We would set up a time to meet and talk about your goals and expectations. I like to do an initial assessment where we weigh you, calculate your body fat, take measurements of your chest, waist, hips, thighs, and arms. We will take those same measurements the first of every month to make sure we are progressing in the right direction. Next we would discus any issues or injuries you might have and decide how to handle those conditions. Finally, we would begin your first workout. First we would go over form to make sure you didn't get injured during the workout. I will be watching to see your fitness level, balance, cardiovascular endurance, plus many other important fitness abilities. We'll go slow to make sure you feel comfortable but you still might feel, dizzy, nauseous, or tired. Those feelings go away as you get used to the workouts. All very normal in the beginning.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have an advanced knowledge of human anatomy, I’ve studied Nutrition and group exercise, and I have a National certification in Personal Training. I've studied Arthritis and Exercise, am always current on CPR and first aid certifications. I have trained people with back, knee, hip, shoulder, ankle, wrist, and neck issues as well as wheelchair bound clients.
