Daniel and his crew did an excellent job on replacing my roof. They were able to remove many layers of shingles and decking in a fast and professional manor. Service after the sale was also good. When I noticed a small problem days later, his crew came out immediately and fixed it. Competitive prices too.

Smart Homes was easy to work with and able to work within our budget. The work was done quickly and site clean up after the job was done was great.

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

We primarily perform new construction, roofing and renovations on residential properties. We also handle minor commercial renovations and we offer a consulting service to answer questions about sustainable building practices or technological integration.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

The best piece of advice I can give you about choosing a contractor is 3 fold. They must be reachable. If you can't get him on the phone consistently, they are not worth your time. Most likely they are just avoiding you anyway, and that is no way to treat a customer. They must be prompt. If they are late the first day, it won't be the last. They must not be the cheapest. The cheapest contractor is the hungriest. Sometimes this is good. Most times this is a warning sign. A contractor who underbids will not stick around if anything should go wrong. He has no money in his pocket to fix things. He will just run and hide, and you will be forced to hire the next guy at twice the price to finish what he started.
