Grass Monkey was paid in advance every step of the way during this repair. This was partly because my fence had completely fallen down and I had dogs running through my yard. So to repair my fence while out of town made the most sense. However, I returned to a job under planned for and undone. They underbid the work and tried to over charge me for the additional concrete needed to repair the fence posts (they literally wanted me to pay 200% more than the actual cost of the needed concrete). To make matters worse, used weather as an excuse for not completing the job they had been paid for. When I finally pressed them about it, I was told they took on other work instead of finishing my job. The fact that they were brazen enough to tell me that was the reason they had not come back to finish the job of painting my fence was very disappointing. I even asked him how would you feel if you had finished your job and I waited this long to pay you? He literally told me, "Oh, I would take you to court." I responded, "Exactly, that's where I'm going next." When I informed them I was done with them and they needed to clean up the debris the left and leave, they chose not to refund any of the work for not painting the fence. Nor did they leave any of the paint behind that I had already paid for. I had planned to take them to claims court, but I am hoping this review will suffice for such a bad experience. I was never refunded any of the cost for having prepaid for the painting of my fence. I had to pay another contractor to finish the remainder of the job and repaint the fence.

Said they would do project and get me an estimate. I’ve been told 3 times now, when I call, that they will send it right away but then o hear nothing. I’m done wasting my time with them.

I contacted them to ask about having some limbs hauled off after I cut some hedges down at my house. The only message I got back was to send a picture of what I was needing hauled off and the number to send it to. I sent the picture and never heard a thing back from them. I found someone else to do the job and paid them $350 to do so and also paid them to dig up the remaining parts of the hedges I cut down.
