- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our prices are based on the individual project that we are contracted to do. Each project is unique and will have different pricing depending upon the budget of the client, the size of the project, what the project is and how many team members and equipment are contracted for the project. We definitely offer discounts and on occasion offer special promotions. Clients should definitely inquire about them.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When we have a new moving service client we always ascertain exactly what services the client wants and needs. We will have an initial phone conversation and a site visit. We will discuss all facets of the project and what the client expects. We will provide a price quote and get a detailed manifest of the items to be moved. Once we have scheduled the move we will do a preliminary walk through a few days before the actual move to make sure everything is ready and to see if the client needs additional assistance. We reconfirm the day before, the move details and when the moving team(s) will arrive. We will move the client, set up and remove any packing materials and unwanted furniture which we will either dispose of or delivery to a charity of the client's choosing. For junk removals, we generally will complete the transaction via phone without a site visit, unless the junk haul removal is large. We then invoice and schedule the junk removal service and will contact the client the day prior to service as a reminder. We will remove all junk and dispose of it properly at the ecological center. For furniture delivery service we generally can complete and schedule the delivery by phone. We require that the client provides the name and location of the store or home that the furniture is to be picked up. The location of where it is to be delivered and a description of the item(s) to be picked up. We will then contact the store or the person whom the client purchased from, inform them that we have been contracted to pick up and deliver the item(s) and make the arrangements. We will contact the client the day prior to delivery to confirm and the day of delivery we will delivery and place the furniture and if required, haul away the old furniture. In all services, we invoice the client by email.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have an extensive background in trucking and furniture delivery. We have over 30 years combined managerial experience in long haul trucking services with Roadway Express and scheduling furniture deliveries with Furniture Row. This experience has been essential in growing our company and in giving us the necessary skills to provide the level of service that we give to all of our clients.
