Introduction: My Name is Roger Decker. I live in Little Rock, Arkansas. I’ve been involved with health and fitness for over 16 years. I got started when I competed in the Body-for-Life competition in 2002. I earned my first personal trainer certification from the American Council on Exercise in 2007. I graduated with my BS in Health & Exercise Sciences in 2013. And in April of 2018 I earned my Certified Personal Trainer Certification with International Sports Sciences Association. As a personal trainer, I am not trying to show off or impress you with fancy, difficult exercises, or talk over your head about hypertrophy or catabolism or any other scientific exercise words that you’ve probably never heard of. My goal is to attract people who are uncomfortable in the gym or are just generally discouraged by exercise. My ideal client is the inexperienced or beginner exerciser that wants to learn the stuff that all the “avid exercisers” take for granted. My main goal with my clients is to empower them to pursue and adopt a lifestyle of healthy & active living. My workouts are designed to be fun, fast, and functional. If you aren’t having fun, then you aren’t likely to stick with the program. If you aren’t moving very fast, then you aren’t burning many calories! And if your routine isn’t designed to make you function better physically at everyday tasks, then what good is it? My exercise plans are designed to develop strength, balance, flexibility, muscular endurance, postural awareness and cardiovascular fitness. I use many exercise techniques and disciplines including calisthenics, circuit training, Pilates, core stabilization, plyometrics, HIIT, super setting, olympic lifting, and dumbbell complexes. I incorporate both unilateral and bilateral movements to create the most structurally effective program to help people reach their goals and create a healthier, more energetic lifestyle. What separates me from my competition??? Not only do I have the knowledge and expertise, but I can also relate to my clients and connect deeply with them as I've had my own struggles with health and fitness over the years. I feel that my own personal fitness journey has definitely made me a better man and a better trainer. And now I am even better prepared to lead others on their fitness journeys. If you want to give training a shot, I will be right there with you guiding you through whatever your obstacles are. I will be right there to encourage and challenge and to empower you to take charge of your health and wellness. I am here for you. Helping others to get moving and feeling better is one of my greatest passions, and I want it to be contagious! I love helping people reach their goals and seeing them transform their lives and their bodies. I hope to hear from you. Before you hire someone make sure you at least reach out to me. The things I've enjoyed most about my job are the friendships I've made and the lives I've seen transformed through exercise. I was a personal trainer myself and after working with Roger I was reminded again of how much I can still learn! He seriously knows his stuff! He showed me exercises that I'd never even heard of before and I was missing out on some good workouts because of it. I would hire Roger myself if I was in the same state! Ask him about juicing too! I've tried one before that was a combination of all kinds of weird healthy things but he made it taste good. He's an expert on nutrition! Two thumbs up from me!

I've very much enjoyed all my interactions with Roger. He has clearly taken the time to learn his trade and the fundamentals, developing his own unique and strong take on working out. He is a pleasure to work with and I'd highly recommend him as a personal trainer.

Roger did an outstanding job helping me regain my core strength after my 3rd back surgery. Now I am able to enjoy more activities like basketball and running as well as daily activities like giving my niece piggy back rides. Thanks, Roger!!
