Please allow me to assist you on your journey to a less cluttered, more organized life! I'm a natural born organizer, extremely detail-oriented, passionate about design, and excellent at space planning. I enjoy making order out of chaos! My mission is to help my clients regain use of cluttered spaces by working with them to weed out unused, unloved items and reorganize their homes. Often, I've helped hoarders unbury and take control of their homes again. I will never make you feel embarrassed by your home nor force you to part with truly precious belongings. My role in the decluttering process is to unburden you and to find ways to simplify your daily routine through smart space planning, comfortable design, and great organizing. I have an innate ability to look at a space and figure out the best use, maximizing square footage while maintaining a pleasing aesthetic. Throughout my many years in business, I’ve serviced residential and commercial clients and effectively executed both small and large projects. This has included working with real estate agents and their clients to prepare a home to sell, helping clients downsize and organize/design their new home. I believe in reduce, reuse, and recycle. Your unwanted items find homes at various charities and serve people who could really use them. I have also taken pounds of paper to secure shredding, donated electronics, safely disposed of meds and hazardous materials ~ anything to help my clients achieve a more organized, clutter-free life. Growing up in a small house with 5 brothers and sisters, I quickly learned the importance of staying organized. We lived by the old adage...a place for everything and everything in its place. My mom was the queen of organizing and an artful packer, and both of my parents taught me the importance of not only hard work but also quality work. Becky is FANTASTIC! I had a several spaces that were overflowing with junk that had accumulated over more than a decade and I was overwhelmed and out of ideas, yet she knew exactly where to start and what to do next. She took care of ALL of the details, including fussing with the city, directing the pickup people, and keeping me calm and SANE throughout the process! She took care of ALL of the details and made the process seem easy as could be. Where I have tried and failed over the years to follow through with the multiple steps that it took to clean up my space, it took Becky THREE DAYS from beginning to end! I now have several new, wonderful, USABLE spaces, along with a peace of mind and pride in my home and MYSELF that I was sorely lacking. If you’re reading this and need help organizing, cleaning up or clearing out, I could not recommend Gal to the Rescue any more highly - she will change your life! Words cannot express how amazingly effective Becky was in the months that she worked with my 83 year-old mother, Rose. Rose is a wonderful, gregarious person who has always had some clutter and pack-rat tendencies. She is sentimental and cherishes her many keepsakes and thrift store treasures. When her husband fell ill for two years and she became his caregiver, the disorganization got worse and her home became unfit for company. Rose frequently did "retail therapy" to cheer herself up during these sad years, and soon her home was overflowing with papers, knick-knacks, unnecessary purchases and simply "too much stuff." After her husband's death, Rose felt embarrassed, overwhelmed and hopeless. The amount of progress that Rose made with Becky's help is nothing short of a miracle. Becky guided Rose through the courageous tasks of sorting through piles of books, papers, mail, souvenirs, home decor, furniture, outdoor items, kitchen items, personal items, etc. Becky showed genuine kindness and generous patience to Rose, who found it emotionally painful to sort through things and decide about discarding items so she could achieve the goal of an organized home. Becky never forced any decisions, rather, she supported Rose as they worked together on one section at a time. The strategy had Rose in the "drivers seat," sorting through things, while Becky did the leg-work of organizing the "keep" things and preparing the "toss" things for trash or donation. When Rose made questionable decisions about keeping certain items "for sentimental value," Becky respected Rose's decisions. There was no pressure to make any specific decisions, rather, the goal was to keep at it, bit by bit and the job would get done without undue anxiety. Yes, Becky provided advice and guidance, which was much appreciated. This non-judgmental working relationship really empowered Rose and allowed her to be more courageous than she imagined. Becky's partner-style approach makes her an excellent person to work with elderly clients, as it respects their judgment while providing necessary support. Thanks to Becky, Rose's home has been restored to a place where Rose feels proud and she now welcomes friends and neighbors to visit. Becky is tremendously organized and skilled, and at the same time she is kind and considerate. The amount of work done in each session is huge - talk about results! Becky is a true professional and delivers more than she promises - and is very quick to return text messages about scheduling. Rose and family are so appreciative of the chance to work with Becky, and the organized home is the proof of a job well done! Thank you, Becky, for your excellence.

Becky has been great to work with to organize key areas of our home, our master closet and kitchen! She came prepared with containers, bins, and other organizing supplies that made the projects move quickly and efficiently. Also, she help organize based on how we use things so now our spaces are more functional and look great!

I am a full time working mom and simply can’t do it all myself. Becky was calm, organized and had wonderful ideas on the most efficient way to pack the house. She took charge and needed minimal input. Our house is neatly and orderly packed in a way that will make unpacking at our new home a breeze. She is worth her weight in gold!
