Introduction: Happy, Confident Well Mannered Dogs. At East Valley K9 Services we take a flexible, open approach creating a custom program to meet the unique needs and goals of each client and their dog because every family is different and all dogs have their own personalities. Training and puppy socialization should be a fun and rewarding experience for both the human and the pup! We use positive reinforcement and motivation to not only correct but also to prevent negative behavior. We also help clients with dogs that have already developed negative behavior such as aggression, lunging & pulling on leash & resource guarding. We rescued a pit mix almost two months ago and she is about 1 y/o. She was very hyperactive and was distracted by other dogs, always pulling on the leash and getting into scruffs. We hired Steve and we could not be happier with the results. After 1 week, and two sessions, she is very well behaved! Now she walks right next to us, listens to commands, and is really learning how to control her impulse. I have trained a dog before, but Steve showed us and taught us things that we did not know. I would highly recommend their service to everyone. Even if you feel comfortable with your dogs behavior, there is always something to improve on, and Steve can help in any way.

I love Brandy and Steve. They have paid very close attention to my two dogs, Charlie and Frankie. We came in with two hyper active working dogs that had little training but have picked up so much information in training class. I am trying to beg them to do a level 2 training class for my dogs to be in. I love how attentive they were before and after class with Frankie and Charlie. I also realized a lot of the work was to train me. They have trained me well. I spend 30 min a day with both of my dogs training them separately with all the tricks they taught me in there class. I would highly recommended this obedience class with Brandy and Steve. They are very reasonably priced as well as they answered my response to their services within minutes. They treat my dogs as there own and send out weekly emails regarding all the dogs in the class and what we need to work on. On the off hours of training Brandy answers my texts and sends me additional info regarding activities for working dogs that she thinks would be good for my babes. One week I didn’t have a second handler and she had her husband help me out. She’s a serious gem and moving forward I will only work with her. She’s passionate about what she does and understands dogs so well! Thanks Brandy!

I'm a first time dog owner and really had no idea what I was doing. We found Brandy on Thumbtack site and we decided to give it a shot. Max was already 7 months old so we had no idea what she would know so the idea of obedience training sounded wonderful. Brandy definitely taught the basics as well as the other things that we wanted with our dog. Brandy also talked through issues we've had, given great advice and tips and Working with Max on them has definitely made a huge difference. Max has learnt some amazing behaviors. He can sit, come, sleep and walk loosely on a leash. Our bond with our puppy is incredible and we owe a lot to Brandy for helping me overcome my fear of dogs. I recommend her for owners with dogs of any age. Brandy came to our house and totally understood my dog's dilemmas. She taught positive training techniques that actually worked! She helped us prevent Max from resource guarding and regain order in the house.

East Valley K9 was very accommodating and helpful during our training session to help my dog, Gus. I am overall very impressed with all of the great work that was done. The trainers are very professional and knowledgeable. Gus already seems to be a happier, more disciplined pup!

Brandy worked with me to identify the behavior related issues with my dog and showed me how to make the necessary changes so I had a better behaved dog. The problem was more me that my dog, I was giving conflicting messages.

We do a meet and greet either in person or on the phone in order to assess the pets and agree on services and rates.
