FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
First, there is NO COST for the introductory consultations. Once I am able to get to know your situation and clarify the best way to improve your situation, you can decide if you feel comfortable with my suggestions and the cost to maintain your accounts. The most expensive part of a portfolio is usually the stock market positions and the daily maintenance they require. Since most of my clients prefer a more fixed income-driven portfolio that requires less daily maintenance, the total fees charged by me and the firm end up being just a fraction of the industry average.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Since I only work with those who are nearing retirement or already retired, most of our process revolves around getting to know them, what type of retirement lifestyle they currently or will want to enjoy, how much income they will need to support this lifestyle, and what are the best strategies and investments to make this happen.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my Bachelor's degree from Northern Illinois University. I went on to become a Retirement Plan Analyst and Retirement Income Certified Planner. I also have my Series 6, 7, 26, 63, and 65. What this means is that I have access to every investment option available to the public.
