This is his track record with remodeling...I wouldn't trust him with a plumbing job as small as replacing a sink plug after my experience with him.... Want a job done right, he is not for you. Hired to widen a doorway to 43". Also wanted a cinder block wall moved 40' forward but were waiting approval so Brent didn't bid. Since he hadnt bid on the wall we were surprised to receive a bill. It was more than the other bid we had but we paid because we believed he had done the work. Arrived back in Phoenix, visited house, saw doorway hadnt been widened to 43". And the wall hadnt been moved 40 forward, only 35. I emailed him asking why as we had to know what is going on, our plans on hold until this is sorted, had tight timeline before leaving the country again. Left voice messages. No reply for 2 days, then email asking-what is the issue with doorway! Said couldn't widen doorway due to king stud in the wall. Hired another contractor extra cost $726, no king stud in wall. Next story: scissor truss in wall supports the roof (untrue). Asked why the cinder block wall had only been moved 35'. Claimed City had setback, contacted them, not true. Hired someone else to move the wall the extra 5. Cost $711.24, a job Brent had been paid $1,317 to do. We trusted him to honor our contract, we did, he got paid. Didn't offer any restitution. Filed a complaint with AROC, investigator tried to set up a visit at the house with him & us to address our complaint, Brent didnt show up, what does that tell you. His claim of 100% satisfaction guaranteed is worthless. Once he has your money...that's it, too bad for you.
