FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have over 8 years of experience teaching video production. It is a passion of mine. While teaching, I produced several projects for people on the side. As I received more referrals, I decided to start Paragon Video Productions and devote more time to the business of videography and video editing.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask to see samples of their work. Ask for customer testimonials. Get everything in writing. Meet them face to face and ask them why you should hire them. Listen and go with your instincts.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
In this profession, you truly get what you pay for. There are many people that can turn a video camera on and press the record button, but that in no way qualifies them as an expert or ensures quality. Quality video production is the result of experience, passion, commitment, honesty, and integrity. To me it is important that the customer is satisfied and that we have a good working relationship. I do not believe in high pressure sales, or misleading clients. If I do not feel that I can provide the services that a customer is requesting, then I will be happy to refer them to someone that can.
