- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Depending on the job, I offer two different pricing options. 1. Fixed fee with 50% down and balance on delivery. 2. A smaller fixed fee plus a percentage of additional revenue generated.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Set up a phone call, email or in-person meeting to get to know one another 2. Discuss the project goals, timelines and budget 3. I provide a Statement of Work describing what work I will do, when it will be delivered, and a price for the work. (My estimates include the initial draft and one revision. Additional revisions will be charged separately.) 4. If customer approves Statement of Work, sign & return to me. Otherwise we discuss and amend Statement of Work till we are agreed. 5. Customer pays 50% of estimate as retainer. 6a. I deliver the initial draft. Customer either indicates acceptance as is or marks up initial draft with requested revisions. 6b. I deliver final draft with revisions. 7. Customer pays balance.
