They did a great job installing our window tint! Brandi was very responsive and got us scheduled quickly, and the team was very detailed and thorough in completing the work. They were all respectful and professional. Thank you!

They responded in a timely manner when I requested the services the day before, which was short notice. When/if you're looking for a reliable company to handle your handyman projects, they're great. They're willing to travel which is a plus. I am pleased with the business sign installation and desk/furniture assembly after they were done with the projects. I would recommend them, yes.

Brandi and her husband were very professional and very knowledgeable. They knew what they were doing. The blinds I had wouldn’t really work for me due to the orientation, Brandi and team did not just quit and say we can’t do it they very tactfully attempted to see if they can help . I will hire them again when I am ready for the install but this team really deserves good reviews.

Tippett Contracting is a family owned and you can tell. They were on time, polite. Asked questions to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction. They installed several light fixtures inside my home and out. They will be coming back to landscaping for me. I highly recommend.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We charge $60 an hour per guy, however if you hire two guys up front it is $100 per hour - or $150 for three guys.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started doing odd and end jobs with my parents at a young age. I moved into bigger jobs from the age of 16. Everything from drywall, carpentry, demolition, etc. My infatuation with DIY grew and I started taking any and all classes I could to learn how to do anything and everything. In 2013 I started my own company doing preservation work and covered the states of Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey and lower Pennsylvania in the Philadelphia area. In 2015 I moved to North Carolina and started covering the eastern portion of the state as well as eastern Virginia. In 2018 my husband and I merged our knowledge and opened Tippett Contracting Services LLC in North Carolina. When we relocated to Arizona we continued our family-owned business with our kids. Here we are today, going strong.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Honesty and communication. It is a two-way street. Life happens and sometimes things don't go the way we want them to. I don't expect my customers to know everything - that's why they are calling me - I do however expect honesty from my customer. If you already know of a pre-existing condition regarding the project you want me to do, please just be honest and tell me. When I quote a project, I do so based off of what you have told me. So, if I get into that project and find circumstances that we are not aware of, it would be appreciated if that was taken into consideration regarding the projects estimated price. It all comes down to honesty and communication. Two things critical to trust and a working relationship.
