Selin was great. We've had one lesson for our 7 year old. Selin was on time, professional and tons on energy and fun for our daughter. Our daughter is excited and going through workbooks and playing some (simple) tunes already. Couldn't be happier!

Coming in as a client in my 20’s I was a little apprehensive yet so excited to start pianolessons. Right when I met Selin, all apprehension went away! Selin is so welcoming, encouraging, and patient! I have loved my time learning with her and am always excited for lessons. She also has fun stickers that she uses to mark completed pages and a cute dog that she made sure I was comfortable having out and was willing to put away if I wasn’t comfortable. Can’t wait to continue lessons!

Selin has been my 10 yr-old daughter’s music instructor for the last 2 years. She is so well versed and great with kids. Mia started piano and ukulele lessons in-person and then we had to move to online due to the pandemic. She is very knowledgeable, I highly recommend Selin if you are looking for strings or piano instructor for your kiddo.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is $30.00 per half hour. Usually, students take half hour lessons, but you can definitely take hour lessons as well!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My students can either take lessons in my home or through Skype/FaceTime. We can meet beforehand to figure out exactly what the student wants to learn and what to expect. I make sure the student is always comfortable with the new materials and has a great time. There are no contracts so if you don’t like the lessons, you can quit at any time without notice.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly learning music. I have had over 30 years of training, an orchestra and solo professional career and a bachelors degree in psychology, working with special needs students. I love to sight read and always learn something new everyday. We never stop learning and I think that is very important to remember!
